Questions

Investment property

Can I borrow in my own name?

No. Loans are made to a company, usually the LLC that owns the property. Owners with 10% or more personally guarantee the loan.

Do you lend on second homes?

Only when the home is owned by a company, such as an LLC, and is not used personally by the owners or their families.

Does the property need to be rented?

No. We lend on vacant, rented and to-be-renovated property. For rented property, send the leases and rent history.

How is the loan repaid?

Most borrowers repay by selling the property or refinancing with a bank. Tell us your plan when you apply; it is part of our review.
