Construction
Do I need permits before closing?
For new construction, generally yes. For renovation, tell us where permits stand and we will explain what we need before the first draw.
Who inspects the work?
An independent inspector we engage confirms each stage before funds are released.
Can I act as my own general contractor?
Case by case. We review your experience and licensing. Most projects use a licensed general contractor.
Can the loan include the purchase of the lot?
Yes, when the lot and the project fit our guidelines. Tell us both the purchase and the construction budget when you request a quote.
