What to know in Miami-Dade

  • Building recertification

Older buildings in Miami-Dade must pass periodic recertification, and condominium buildings may also need milestone inspections under state law. If either applies, we ask for the most recent report.

  • Condominiums

For condo units we review the association's budget, reserves, insurance and any special assessments, because each one affects the value of the unit.

  • Flood zones

Much of the county lies in a flood zone. We confirm the zone with the appraisal and require flood insurance where it applies.
